Ménilmontant
Filming in Ménilmontant, the 20th arrondissement of Paris. The old village is on a hill and its main street climbs 50 metres between the boulevard and rue des Pyrénées. Père Lachaise is on the lower slope.
Montmartre
Filming in Montmartre, the 18th arrondissement of Paris. The butte is the highest ground in the city and some of the ways up it are stairs rather than streets. Amélie was shot here in 2000.
Pigalle
Filming in Pigalle, Paris. Boulevard de Clichy and boulevard de Rochechouart meet at Place Pigalle. The streets behind them climb toward Montmartre and are much quieter.
