Camden Town
Filming in Camden Town, London. The markets are in the old Pickfords stables and the arches under the railway. The Regent's Canal runs through the middle of them.
Canary Wharf
Filming in Canary Wharf, London. The estate was built on the West India Docks and the water is still there on both sides.
City of London
Filming in the City of London. The Square Mile is its own local authority with its own film team, and the streets empty out in the evening.
Clerkenwell
Filming in Clerkenwell, London. The printing and watchmaking trades left brick workshop buildings on the streets north west of the City.
Covent Garden
Filming in Covent Garden, London. Inigo Jones laid the square out in the 1630s and Charles Fowler's market buildings went up around 1830. Hitchcock shot Frenzy here in 1971, three years before the wholesale market moved out.
Hackney Wick
Filming in Hackney Wick, Hackney. Brick works and yards run down to the Lee Navigation and nearly every wall is painted. The Olympic Park is on the other side of the water.
King's Cross
Filming in King's Cross, London. The goods yard behind the two stations was rebuilt after 2007. The granary and the coal drop sheds are still there and doing other jobs.

Filming in Notting Hill, London. The blue door from the film is at 280 Westbourne Park Road. The terraces around it are painted stucco, four and five storeys.
Shoreditch
Filming in Shoreditch, London. The warehouses on Curtain Road and Charlotte Road were built for the furniture trade. Railway viaducts run over the southern edge.
Soho
Filming in Soho, London. The buildings sit on narrow plots four and five storeys high, with bars and restaurants at street level. Edgar Wright shot Last Night in Soho on these streets.
Wapping
Filming in Wapping, London. Wapping High Street runs between converted warehouses, and the old watermen's stairs off it go down to the Thames foreshore.
Whitechapel
Filming in Whitechapel, London. The market runs along the north pavement of Whitechapel Road. The Royal London Hospital is on the other side of it.
